This impeccably modernised three-bedroom early Victorian house has been transformed for modern living, with one simple brief: add colour and personality.

Although it had been carefully renovated before, the home lacked joy. Working closely with the new owners, we delivered that in abundance.

On the lower ground floor, we tackled a study that was short on light. A warming mustard palette, paired with fully bespoke joinery and bookshelves, has made the space cosy and inspiring. The open-plan kitchen/diner/family room now features a custom banquette and floor-to-ceiling mustard linen curtains, creating a cosy, joyful room for entertaining and family life.

The open-plan double lounge is a tale of two halves, with striped ceiling paper running across both spaces in different colour-ways. The rooms speak to each other through playful details, while each keeps its own personality. Bespoke window seating, upholstered treatments, and custom joinery, including a reading nook, anchor the scheme. The palette is daring, yet carefully balanced, combining prints and colours to make the room truly unique.

The guest bedroom and nursery are bold, with patterned wallpaper and joyful colour taken right up to the ceiling. Bespoke alcove wardrobes with our signature rattan detailing add storage for a growing family. Custom curtains and vintage pieces finish the spaces, making both rooms bursting with personality. The only concern: we’ve made it so enticing that guests may never leave.

The principal bedroom on the top floor has high ceilings and views across its North London backdrop. A second bespoke wardrobe and a fully custom upholstered bed with our cocoon headboard, plus tailored curtains, sit within a calming soft-pink palette, lifted with hints of cream, sky blue, and cinnamon.
